Two Waterfront Case Studies

Some examples:

For those of you doing Union Canal:
King's Cross & Regent's Canal || Developer for King's Cross
This is a fascinating area. A mix of short term, small scale interventions and long term, permanent development. Of particular note: King's Cross Pond, Skip Garden, the arts programme and Camley Street natural park (which sits just outside the main development area). If any of you travel to London by train in the next few weeks - take a look as it's likely you'll pull into King's Cross from Edinburgh.

For those of you doing Leith Waterfront:
In Audrey's presentation she raised the wider context of Leith Waterfront and its relationship with e.g. Granton. Liverpool and its relationship with Birkenhead is similarly interesting and worth exploring.
